Our headshot sessions typically last between 1 and 2 hours. This gives us time to explore a few different looks, outfits, and lighting setups so you get a strong variety of images to choose from.
What should I wear?
Bring a few outfit options - ideally solid colours and simple styles that reflect the look you're going for. Avoid busy patterns or large logos. If you're not sure, we're happy to advise beforehand or on the day.
Can I book hair and makeup?
Yes, absolutely. We work with professional hair and makeup artists who can be booked for an additional cost. Just let us know when you enquire and we'll sort the rest.
I hate having my photo taken - will you help guide me?
Totally. Most people feel that way! Our job is to help you feel comfortable and confident throughout. We'll give you plenty of guidance on posing and expression - no awkwardness required.
How much retouching do you do?
We're guided by you when it comes to retouching. For acting headshots, the edits are usually very minimal — just enough to tidy up distractions like blemishes or stray hairs while keeping everything natural and true to life. For other types of headshots (like promo shots or dating profiles), we can take a more polished or creative approach if that's your vibe. Either way, our goal is always the same: to make sure you still look like you - just on your best day.
Do you offer acting headshots?
Yes - we regularly shoot headshots for actors across Plymouth and Devon. We know what casting agents are looking for and will work with you to get a clean, natural shot that shows you at your best.
How many photos will I receive?
Included in the session price are 5 professionally retouched images. If you'd like more, extra retouched shots can be purchased for £25 each.
